I wanted to use Anubis on this site, but I just found out that it doesn't work without self-hosting. So I turned on Cloudflare's Bot Fight Mode. This is not cool. The internet needs a warm-colored background and a furry mascot.

I think of two ways to think about programming. First, raw data is mapped to data structures that are well-defined in the programming language, and conversely, those structures are serialized back to raw data. Second, those data structures are operated on by defined functions.
